About Maddalena

Maddalena Romano was born in Adelaide and has lived most of her life in North Eastern Suburbs close to the foothills but has recently married and has had a complete sea change and moved to the Western Suburbs. She was educated at Dernancourt Primary School and completed her high school education at Kildare College School. Upon completion of secondary schooling, she commenced her higher education by completing a Bachelor of Architecture with Honours.

Maddalena had a keen interest in Building Law then undertook her Law degree at Adelaide University. Having completed her Law degree in 2000 she completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Law Society of South Australia in 2001 and was admitted into practice 11Feburary 2002. Maddalena in November 2001 settled into a junior solicitor role at a suburban Adelaide Law firm. It was here where Maddalena commence a long career in criminal Law. Maddalena’s passion was to find a position in a firm where she could use her expertise as an Architect and Maddalena decided to increase her knowledge and in 2006 commenced a Graduate Diploma in Planning and Building, at the University of South Australia.

Maddalena continue to work in the law until 2014. Throughout this time Maddalena tutored Law students and was a mentor to various your solicitors who were commencing their Law careers. Which ultimately lead Maddalena to further her education by completing a Graduate Diploma in learning and teaching through Charles Darwin University. Maddalena’s strong commitment to the law motto of “common sense often make good law” she has now returned back to the law. Her commitment to her clients and achieving the best for her client is what has lead to her return back to the law.

Maddalena who is recently married has a close family and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Maddalena with her work and family life loves to travel and would love to spend more time travelling especially Europe and America.
