About

We understand why this keeps getting pushed aside

Most people who come to us have known for some time that they should have sorted this out. Life gets in the way. The task feels complicated. The stakes feel too high to get wrong, which makes starting feel harder than it should.

We understand that. It is what we hear from almost every person who walks through our door. And we know how to make it straightforward.

Welden & Coluccio Lawyers are The Estate Specialists. We are here before you need us, and ready when you are.

Who We Are

Founded in 2014 by Greg Welden and Jason Coluccio, Welden & Coluccio Lawyers was built around a single purpose: to deliver the highest standard of estate legal services to the South Australian community.

In 2024, the firm incorporated Carpenter & Associates, an established Adelaide estates practice with deep specialist experience across wills, estate planning, estate administration, probate, estate disputes, inheritance claims, powers of attorney, and guardianship. That incorporation brought together two teams with a shared commitment to specialist, client-focused estate law.

Today, Welden & Coluccio Lawyers operates from offices in Findon, serving clients across South Australia with a team that has specifically chosen succession and estate law as their professional focus.

Why we do this work

Estate planning is not something people do for themselves. They do it for the people who depend on them: their partners, their children, their business partners, the people they have spent a lifetime building something for.

We believe that people who work hard to build something deserve to decide what happens to it. The government, the courts, a superannuation trustee, or an estranged relative should not get to make those decisions because the right documents were never put in place.

Our work is to make sure they do not have to.

Our Credentials

We say less about our credentials than we could. But they matter, and they are worth knowing.

  • The firm holds the Law Society of South Australia Cover of Excellence.

  • Now incorporating Carpenter & Associates, the firm brings together decades of specialist estate law experience across every area of succession and estate practice.

Our Team

Every solicitor at Welden & Coluccio Lawyers has chosen estate and succession law as their focus. This is not a generalist firm that does estate planning on the side. It is a specialist practice where every member of the legal team has developed their knowledge and experience specifically in this area of law.

Our support team, including our office manager and legal clerical staff, brings the same commitment to client care to every interaction. From the first conversation to the final document, you are in good hands.
You can meet the team on our Our Team page.

How we work

We start with a conversation. Not a consultation form. Not an online questionnaire. A real conversation with an experienced estate solicitor who will listen to your situation, ask the right questions, and give you a clear picture of what needs to be done.

From there, we review your full position: your Will, your superannuation nominations, your trust structures, your jointly held assets, your incapacity planning documents, and your business succession arrangements. Together, not in isolation.

We then prepare properly drafted, legally sound documents that cover every asset, every contingency, and every person who matters to you. We build in a review schedule so your estate plan stays current as your circumstances change.

Here before you need us

Estate planning is not something you do when a crisis arrives. It is what you put in place so a crisis never gets to decide for you.

Whether you have nothing in place, documents you have not reviewed in years, or a specific situation that needs expert guidance, one conversation with our team gives you a clear picture of exactly where you stand and what needs to change.

Book a conversation with our team. No obligation. No pressure. Just a clear picture of where you stand and what needs to change.
